Graduates of the M.Ed. in educational psychology – applied developmental science (EP-ADS) program launch or advance their careers as practitioners, conduct research and generate knowledge in the field of applied developmental science, or continue to advanced study in related fields.
UVA EP-ADS graduates are currently:
- Motivating and engaging youth in school or community-based recreational programs
- Designing and conducting research analysis in organizations such as WestEd, American Institute of Research, and Child Trends
- Informing policy and practice as data analysts for school systems
- Leading academic and mentoring programs that support the well-being of children and youth at various developmental ranges
- Educators bringing specialized skills to traditional or alternative schools
- Enrolled in highly competitive doctoral programs such as educational psychology, clinical psychology, cognitive science, and school psychology
